Pilots N Paws is an incredible organization, and today we want to share Koa’s journey to his forever home with you. This story comes from our amazing client, Suzanne Hansen.
“My husband and I fly for Pilots N Paws. We did a flight transport relay last weekend. Our plane, Simon’s Flight, is in memory of our beloved Bluetick puppy that passed away at 10-months-old.
This is Koa. He is an 11-month-old mixed breed that was found as a stray on a reservation. He developed Fungal Pneumonia and had several months of treatment. Unfortunately, he was not ready to travel when his family met him. He had to wait to make the trip home.
He flew from Sioux City IA to Spokane WA on the 17th of September, after flights had been delayed due to weather and smoke.
Four different Pilots N Paws volunteer planes moved him to his new forever home. He flew like a pro!! He had his stuffed moose, and his special blanket to keep him safe.
Koa arrived in Spokane Sunday evening, and was greeted at the airport by his new family.”
We’re so happy that you’ve found your forever home, Koa! We can’t stop smiling.
